Comments (-1) 2019-2020 School Calendar Update After considering many options and receiving feedback, the Kutztown Area School District will not be revising our calendar for students at our upcoming meeting. The last day for students will be Friday, May 29, 2020. Comments (-1) Middle & High School Q3 Report Cards This message is to inform you that grades for the third marking period have been recorded. Report cards have been archived, and are currently available in PowerSchool for you to review. Comments (-1) Special Message from our Superintendent on Virtual Learning Mr. Temchatin shares some thoughts Virtual Learning and on the resiliency of our Kutztown Community. Comments (-1) Virtual Learning Virtual Learning will begin on Tuesday, April 14th after Spring Break. This program will include required graded assignments and attendance within a flexible structure. Comments (-1) Video Conferencing Notice for Virtual Learning KASD making a good faith effort to provide continuity of education, planned instruction, and appropriate and reasonable services for students and will be providing instruction and related services, to the extent it is appropriate, through video conferencing and other virtual/online platforms. KASD has made reasonable efforts to ensure that such conferencing is confidential, and access is limited to students in the assigned groups. Comments (-1) Grab-N-Go Meals for Students KASD will make free Grab-N-Go lunches available to all KASD students beginning Tuesday, March 17th. Students do not need to qualify for free or reduced lunch status to participate. Meals will be available daily, Monday through Friday, throughout the duration of our COVID-19 school closures. Comments (-1) Special Education Plan Our special education plan, as part of the District comprehensive planning process, is available for public inspection and comment for 28 days and then it can be approved by the school entity's governing board and then submitted to PDE.
